“Humphrey Bogart – The Signature Collection, Vol. 2″ may be as challenging a collection of Bogart films, as he emerged as a major WB star, as you’ll ever procure. They hurry the gamut of early classic noir, espionage, action/adventure, enormous comedy, and peevish morality memoir, each exceptional, and stamped with the distinctive Bogie ‘style’.

“The Maltese Falcon” (1941) – One of the earliest examples of the style that became known as Film Noir, John Huston’s crime classic has been described as the finest detective film ever made, and certainly deserves the title! The second teaming of the director and star (“High Sierra” had been released earlier that year), both films had a current history, as George Raft ‘passed’ on both properties (not wanting to work with an ‘untested’ director), and the films would commence Bogie into the superstardom that had eluded him in the 30s.

Dashiell Hammett’s epic of amoral detective Sam Spade, the slay of his partner, and the offbeat collection of characters in pursuit of a extraordinary, jewel-encrusted statue, had been filmed twice by WB in the thirties, but never truly captured the ‘flavor’ of the fresh. Huston, with his notice for characterization, and utilize of light and shadow, not only got it ‘right’, but popularized a unusual genre, of beat-up, world-weary anti-heroes with their absorb ‘codes of honor’, duplicitous women, and endings where things seldom slay ‘happily ever after’. While Film Noir wouldn’t become a film staple until after WWII, it seldom got better than this!

I could say Worthy more, but this 3-Disc collection says it FAR better…it is, simply, a MUST Occupy!

“Across the Pacific” (1942) – The next teaming of Huston and Bogie may be one of the most palatable espionage comedy/dramas of WWII, made even more engrossing by the film’s benefit story; Huston, who wanted, desperately, to score into WWII, managed to leave for the war after writing Bogie into ‘certain-death’ film climax, without a resolution! While the director and star understanding it was hilarious, terrible Vincent Sherman, called in to achieve the film, probably lost a lot of sleep tying everything up!

Re-teaming the star with “Falcon” co-stars Mary Astor and Sydney Greenstreet (who are both well-behaved), the film, despite definite flaws, is eminently ‘watchable’, and remains one of Bogie’s most current films.

“Action in the North Atlantic” (1943) – One of WB’s best wartime action/adventure films, Lloyd Bacon’s tribute to the merchant marine is a gracious ensemble fragment, with expansive acting compensating for clear stereotypes. Bogie isn’t the focus of the legend, but a team player, on a ship commanded by Raymond Massey (in one of his warmest, most ingratiating portrayals) . This film has a illustrious back-story, as well; watching their stunt men performing a dive off a burning ship, Bogie and Massey, both a bit intoxicated (being ‘off-duty’), started making bets on which stunt-man was braver…one thing led to another, until the stars, themselves, made the dive (which must have driven Jack Warner into apoplexy!)

“All Through the Night” (1942) – Humphrey Bogart made few comedies (mostly later in his career), but this ‘Damon Runyon-Types vs. the Nazis’, filmed unprejudiced after “Falcon”, is breezy fun, if totally unpleasant! The epic of gambler/promoter Bogie, investigating (for his mother!) queer goings-on, getting framed for slay, and discovering a Nazi cell in Manhattan with scandalous intentions, is so loaded with comic one-liners that you never miss the lack of logic.

Supported by a cast of Spacious humorous actors (including William Demarest, Frank McHugh, Jackie Gleason, and Phil Silvers), hiss-able villains (headed by Conrad Veidt and Peter Lorre, who would re-team with Bogie in “Casablanca”), and handsome Kaaren Verne (the future Mrs. Peter Lorre) for romance, “All Through the Night” may not be a classic, but is Fantastic fun!

“Passage to Marseille” (1944) – After the grand success of “Casablanca”, WB attempted to accumulate similar vehicles for Bogie, to attempt to recapture the magic. Some would work very well (“To Have and Have Not”) ; most didn’t. This was one of the misfires, but it does offer “Casablanca” co-stars Claude Rains, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, and Helmut Dantine, in a record of Devil’s Island escapees, dealing with Vichy plots, finding their ‘souls’, and rejoining the fight to rid France of the Nazis. Atmospheric, if occasionally slow-moving, the film is not among Bogie’s best, but is certainly watchable, and has WB’s distinctive ‘gloss’…

Quite a collection!

Re-releasing well-liked titles on DVD is par-for-course for most labels. Only two approach befriend for another release when the reason is damned safe…WB and Criterion. Unlike the other studios, only these two set the second dip for something far better, and this first-rate SIGNATURE COLLECTION VOLUME TWO contains four new-to-DVD releases, looking SENSATIONAL, but also a re-visit to THE MALTESE FALCON, which along with CASABLANCA and SIERRA MADRE, represents the very best of the world’s most beloved and timeless movie actor.

I picked up my copy today, and all I can say is WOWEE!

The current FALCON DVD looked very capable. It was released when WB didn’t seem to care about their older films, and the extras were paltry and the quality was respectable but not spacious.

The novel FALCON carries the excellence that has been the hallmark of the WB Special Editions that have become the industry standard against which others are measured. Tons of immense fresh extra features, and the two previous film versions of the Hammett unique, both of which are fodder compared to the Bogart version, which looks and sounds SO Great BETTER here.

Best of all, the signature collection has taken pity on our shelving, and is packaged in sturdy slim-cases.

Episode Eight- Gazpatcho Stands Up/A Taste Of Marzipan

Episode Nine- The Puckerberry Overlords/The Elemelons

Episode Ten- Sniffleball/Mung On The Rocks

My addvice, pre-order this DVD. It’s cheap and you net a lot of entertainment with it!

This is a second volume of the hit Cartoon Network present “Chowder”. These are the next five episodes from the show’s first season.

Highlights including the Irascible Address/Wrong Customer combo (the two seemingly different shorts that are connected together into one chronicle, one from Chowder and Mung’s side and other from Shnitzel and Truffles’)

Gazpacho Stands Up is another comical episode, where Chowder helps Gazpacho by writing down all the jokes for his stand-up comedy appearance. Unfortunately Chowder’s handwriting is too unpleasant for one to read.

Then there’s “Shnitzel Makes a Deposit” (one of the first eps to air) where Shnitzel is forced to assume Chowder to the bank.

All the episodes are silly. Hope more DVDs will come; the series gets funnier as each episode pass.

Recommended to cartoon fans.

Dan Schneider (the producer) has become the Dick Wolf (Law and Order, etc.) or Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, etc.) of tween and teen shows with productions like Zoey101, Drake and Josh and now iCarly.

So what’s so tremendous about these shows? They all follow a similar formula: likeable characters, over the top acting and comedy that their audience can report to and a rapid script, and it’s very successful.

Most valuable of all, the shows all revolve around a cast of likeable characters that the audience can record or want to be. That’s why a indicate with an unlikeable protagonist would never be as successful. But of course the cast all need a foil, and the best one is one which you can despise without misgiving because they are so scandalous, and also one who doesn’t appear too mighty, so you can exercise you time laughing instead.

Buy,Download, Or Stream iCarly: Season 1, Vol. 2! Click Here

The writing is also very superior, the explain is laughable, and it’s fleet. The 20+ minutes plus commercials go by rapid without any monotonous and dumb parts that execute tween and teen fingers itch for remote control control.

The curious thing about the tween/teen shows is that after a few short years the characters grow up and out of character and its’ time for the next replacement. It’s nature and it’s something which prevents the producers and studios from support milking the present past it’s due date when all the comedy has been milked out of it. Scrubs is a obedient example of that. For the first few seasons, it was hilarious, but there are only so many thing comical situations which can happen in a hospital. With the tween/teen shows, the current shows and modern ideas maintain everything novel.

With iCarly, the exhibit revolves around the titled webcast, but really the expose is about relationships (as safe shows always are) . We have Carly Shay, Freddie the nerd, and Sam the dreadful girl and Spencer the adult, who is really fair a child in adult disguse, and the relationships work very well. Jerry Trainor as Spencer is in fact a very excellent addition as he becomes a regular adult presence, however without the stifling achieve of a staunch adult.

It’s also about living vicariously through the cast, who wouldn’t want to live without parental supervision, in a totally neato apartment, with expansive friends, running a webshow, being favorite, and having fun things happen once a week? Homework, piano lessons, chores, cleaning up, staunch schoolwork? Those things are nowhere in watch! For 20+ minutes everyone can cast away their insensible lives and live the life of the most current and nice clique in school, and that’s why everyone loves iCarly!

As with other tween/teen shows, as the cast gets older, the insist becomes more about romantic relationships, and as one parent reviewer says, it becomes less expedient for the younger viewers. Concerned parents can rightly be there to account for the relationships on the point to. I’m not totally against this myself as TV is so ubiquitous and so it can objective be an early introduction to relationships and be educational as well.

I do not study this present lasting more than 3 seasons in all as the kids are already growing up like a flash. It’s too abominable as I deem this one of the best Dan Schneider shows. I unbiased hope his next note will be as marvelous. Definitely 10 thumbs up for this one.

This is a spacious product for any child to like and even a few adults. It’s honorable, natty, and tasteful.

I admire Burly Moon movies, so when I saw that they were coming out with Burly Moon Classics vol.2 I was aroused. Although the movies aren’t quite as generous as the ones in the first volume it’s composed a genuine state.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Full Moon Classics, Vol. 2! Click Here

Lurking Panic (1994) starring Jeffery Combs, Ashley Laurence, and Blake Bailey is a fun action-filled fright movie. This is definitely the best movie in the dwelling. This movie takes plot in a town that’s overran by disagreeable beings, only the doctor (Combs), a distraught sister (Laurence), and a pregnant woman remain. Then a man (Bailey), looking for his family fortune, shows up with criminals on his tail. This movie is actually really worthy, it’s stout of gore and it has Jeffery Combs!

Robot Wars (1993) starring Don Michael Paul and Barbara Crampton is a silly sci-fi action movie, the character are all really comic and likable. The movie takes plot in the year 2041 where an archeologist (Crampton) uncovers an harmful location and with the wait on of a robot pilot (Paul) and his humorous sidekick they try to establish mankind.

Dark Angel: The Ascent (1994) starring Angela Featherstone and Daniel Markel is a gory apprehension movie about a demon that escapes hell. She becomes a vigilante and kills inappropriate doers. She meets a doctor and falls in fancy with him. This movie is dazzling friendly, I liked the two detectives but it does seem to prefer itself more seriously than the rest.

Mandroid (1993) starring Brian Cousins, Jane Caldwell, and Michael Della Femina is an action adventure movie with a “mandroid.” A Romanian scientist and his daughter are working to build something called Super-con. Their partner, Drago, decides to retract it and is harmed in the process. Mandroid is a glowing first-rate movie, I enjoyed it.

Invisible: The Chronicles of Benjamin Knight (1994) starring Brian Cousins and Michael Della Femina is the sequel to Mandroid. Basically, the characters that survived the last on are in this one as well. It’s the worst movie in the residence, in my idea. The villains are too out there, especially the mental patients, and the script is ravishing dreadful.

Overall, a ample spot. Not nearly as edifying as Vol. 1 but for Corpulent Moon fans it detached is a lot of fun to study. As for extras each movie contains a slack the scene videozone and like Stout Moon Classics Vol. 1 it is position free. At the moment I would recommend shopping around for a better stamp on the spot. $130 is more than twice as worthy as listed on any other website, even Rotund Moon’s website sells it for far less.

Dark Angel is the best movie in this site. In fact, I believe it’s one of the better Bulky Moon films ever made. I first saw it relieve in the tedious 1990s on Sci-Fi Channel (aid when I actually enjoyed watching Sci-Fi) and VHS, but always wanted it on DVD. There is something about the musical score; the slightly gothic, former worldish Romanian setting; and Angela Featherstone (The Wedding Singer, 200 Cigarettes) as Veronica that objective made this movie an instant fav despite the runt cheese factor… personally, I could care less about the other films in this site and derive it annoying that Black Angel hasn’t had a solo DVD release. Everything else in this spot is Mystery Science Theater material.

Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers; I guess I should unbiased be gay to have it on DVD at all. At least it came with four nice coasters for drinks on the kitchen table ; )

Cheers!

The second collection of Gundam Seed picks up where the first left off. It takes the series and characters to a unique level. I couldn’t finish watching these two collections and I watched Gundam Seed Destiny Anime Legends, Vol. 1 in less than 4 days because of how interesting the characters and universe are. If you are a fan of Gundam, I wait on you to survey how this fabulous series has grown in the recent millenium.

I do NOT give away 4 star ratings lightly (unlike some of my fellow Anime “lovers”) .

This 2nd installment in Gundam Seed was better than the first (call me dense, but “Complete Collection, fragment II” is an oxymoron… but with this grand yell, I’ll forgive the misnomer) in every plan.

NON Spoiler (again, unlike my fellow reviewers) review:

“What is it you maintain in? What are you fighting for? Is it that medal? Or your fathers orders? ”

For this 2nd section of the sage, the drama intensifies, the lawful horrors of war are even more revealed and the characters (some of whom, may have appeared to be laughable relief or behold candy…such as the person who uttered the above quote) become more complex, more grown up, more of a player than we were led to maintain.

The “Giant Uber Weapon Dispensing Machine” is in fat production as both sides command their secret weapon(s) (mobile suit and otherwise) in a bunch of “AHA!” moments. It gets a cramped noteworthy, but does add to the suspense.

This is a “cartoon” but is not for children. People are shot, bloody, chopped in half, blow up in the horrors of dwelling (vacuum) combat and die in briefly violent ways. I’d rate it PG13.

The music is over all passable, but with flashes of particular greatness. The Music video alone on this dwelling is worth watching again and again, “Hold” by Nami Tamaki. I’m listening accurate now and getting goosebumps. And this other particular song was beautifully haunting (and imho, under musty) [EDIT - link to Youtube video deleted by Amazon. Search on Youtube for Akatsuki no kuruma by FictionJunction and you'll rep it...]

The character development, the situation twists, the music, the epic, the hard edge, all were brought together in a very satisfying method. Its not perfect, but its discontinuance. Ironically, my biggest turn off is the cartoonish Gundams. Giant humanoid fighting machines have only the barest of military justifications, painting them in clown colors objective makes it worse. Robotech (Macross in particular) had noteworthy more realistic looking Mechs (Gundams, whatever) and that was 25 years ago. This grown up yarn with its tight production is satisfactory of a more grown up do of weaponry.

It is a unfamiliar mix. On the one hand, you recognize the horrors of war, the loss of your friends, coming face to face with those who loved the people you killed, the treatment of Prisoners of War, civilian casualties. Then another well choreographed battle that draws you into the action, but shouldn’t I feel guilty now for enjoying it?

Guilty or not, I completely enjoyed Gundam Seed.

Ok so even though it can’t top seasons two, three, and four, season five is definitely a spacious season. It could almost be intertwined with season four as far as the overall glossiness of it. Things really changed in this season. Daphne Zuniga was out (Jo left at in the season four finale and is mentioned once in the season five premiere) and she would not be the only one to go. By the demolish of season five, Courtney Thorne-Smith (Alison), Grant Display (Jake), Josie Bissett (Jane), Laura Leighton (Sydney), and Marcia Gross (Kimberly) were all gone. There were some immense additions – Assume Estes and Lisa Rinna (Kyle and Taylor), Kelly Rutherford (Megan), Alyssa Milano (Jennifer), Brooke Langton (Samantha), and David Charvet (Craig) – but the lack of beloved characters is, in my view, what led to lackluster seasons six and seven.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Melrose Place: Season Five, Vol. 2! Click Here

I do like the design some of the departing characters are written out. Kimberly, finally overcoming all of her mental problems, struggles with getting her life wait on to normal but succumbs to cancer and dies of a brain tumor (she really is stupid this time) . Dreadful luck befalls Sydney on her wedding day, who is tragically killed after finally finding a man who will appreciate her for who she really is. Jake runs off to be with his son and his ex. Alison leaves for Atlanta to launch new, and Jane also decides it’s time to say bon voyage (which is well-behaved because I contemplate the insanity Kimberly finally got rid of leaked over into Jane’s storyline) .

Season Five is the last really stout season. I enjoyed Season Six and some parts of Season Seven, but not very great.

SEX, SEX SEX!!! That’s all this prove is about. Watching Season 5 is like watching p-o-r-n-o, minus the really dreadful acting (well, mostly) and incredibly fugly chicks! It’s cheap and gross and crude and I like it!!!

These are the Season 5 Usual Suspects, Guests, Recurring Stars & Various Nobodys:

** Thomas Calabro / Dr. Michael h-o-r-n-y-as-a-toad-Mancini (he was the only character who was on the entire Series, without leaving; on entire Season)

** Heather The Star Locklear / Amanda “Queen of the Jungle” Woodward (on entire Season, after all she’s the Stah)

** Andrew Shue / Billy boring-boring-boring Campbell (regrettably, he was on the entire Season)

** Josie Bissett / Jane Mancini (on up until the middle of Season 5 when she left the Series; she came aid unbiased over a year latter in Season 6)

** Courtney Thorne-Smith / Allison Parker (Allison’s name has been spelled with both 1 “L” and 2, for this review, I’m spelling it with 2.) (on the entire Season too, thankfully it was her last)

** Grant Indicate / Jake the-sexiest-man-in-the-world Hanson (Jake was my kind of man, young and lifeless and involved to please; on the entire Season; but this would be his last, sadly!)

** Doug Savant / Matt the-token-g-a-y Fielding (almost as expressionless as Billy, on the entire Season)

** Jack Wagner / Dr. Peter Burns (aka Dr. Feelgood or Dr. Jungle-Fever) (entire Season)

** Laura Leighton / Sydney Andrews (entire Season, this would also be Syd’s last!)

** Marcia Immoral / Dr. Kimberly (the most desperate housewife there is!) Shaw (left during the middle of Season 5, sadly because she was my celebrated kook!)

** Select Estes / Kyle (the Jake-wannabe) McBride (entire Season)

** Kelly Rutherford / Megan the-happy-hooker Mancini (originally Lewis) (started after the Season began in a limited fragment that flourished into recurring site, similar to what happened to Lexi (aka “Mood Hair”) in Season 6)

** Brooke Langton / Samantha Reilly (I hated this one more than even Allison, on entire Season, unfortunately)

** Lisa Rinna / Victoria “Vicki” Taylor McBride (I like Taylor & her gigantic lips, on entire Season)

** David Charvet / Craig Field (after Jake, Craig was the hottest man in the building, started after the Season began, but was on the rest of the Season)

** Alyssa Milano / Jennifer Mancini (only had a runt recurring role, towards the waste of the Season, although she’d be encourage in Season 6)

** Patrick Muldoon / Richard Hart (left towards the beginning of the Season after like the 2nd ep, BTW, did rep you a load of Richard’s hirsute? Very sexy!)

** Dey Young / Dr. Irene Shulman otherwise known as “that Shulman Creature” by Taylor (only had a itsy-bitsy recurring role, but she always managed to design a spacious splash (pardon the pun) when she was on)

** Katie Wright / Chelsea Fielding (only had a runt & slow recurring role)

** Greg Evigan / Dr. Dan Hathaway (in the only, and I mean Only time in the entire history of “Melrose,” Matt was alive to in an enchanting storyline, thanks to Dan, only on fraction of the Season in a recurring role)

** The tedious Scott Plank (like “Roseanne” star, Glenne Quinn, he passed away in 2002) / Cleave Re@rdon (not on entire Season, honest had a recurring role)

** Edie McClurg / Hilda Morris (only on 3 eps, but this big-mama always managed to snatch the spotlight from Syd)

On one ep Amanda could be having a drunken roll in the sack with Craig on another she could be running into Kyle’s cockpit! And, when sex-crazy Michael wasn’t getting it at home (everyone’s popular kook Kimberly was suffering from a severe case of frigidity) he simply found a hooker (courtesy of his wife!) who gratified all of his needs. Wasn’t it so amusing when Amanda made that pathetic celibacy recount? It only lasted about as long as it took her to bolt out of her micro-mini! Unbiased about everyone is getting their mojo strung. Except, of course for bad customary Hilda Morris! Although, I seriously judge that if Syd had fixed Hilda up with one of the resident-hotties (Jake, Billy or Matt, although he doesn’t swing that contrivance) Hilda would have dropped her ludicrous lawsuit quicker than you can say “G-Spot.” Speaking of g-spots, didn’t Taylor watch like she was always getting it on with herself. It looked like she was always in this outrageous heat of passion, like she was having an intense o-r-g@-s-m all the time! And when Peter came buzzing around her Taylor simply couldn’t wait to jump his bones! Surprisingly, always-hungry-for-sloppy-seconds, Alison, only plays leap-frog with Jake during this Season! Although, Jake is enough man to satisify any woman! He’s like a substantial, juicy, meaty, steak; you unprejudiced can’t wait to wrap your lips around it…! …Like a Virgina Slim, it always fills your mouth with flavor! …I tend to believe that Samantha Riley feeble her sex as a weapon to control Billy. She was more shameless than Taylor and Megan. How else can all of those idiotic things that Billy did for her (he took her in after only gleaming her for like what a month? took in her jail-bird daddy and supported them both!) be explained, otherwise? …Even Arthur Field got into the act. Although Amanda made another one of her asinine threats to him, “I’ll sue your pants off you.” Field fast replied, “you don’t have to sue me to gather my pants off.” Yuuuuck!! That repugnant, primitive thing looks like Mr. Burns! But I’m clear Amanda would have jumped on his soul-train if she needed aid advancing at D&D!

As any fan knows, “Melrose” often hosted a bevy of very hot men. Who’s your current(s)? These are my picks for the hottest men on this show:

Jake Hanson

Jack Parezi (Antonio Sabato Jr.)

Reed Carter (James Wilder)

Craig Field

Dr. Coop Cooper (Linden Ashby)

Bobby Parezi (John Enos)

Dr. Dan Hathaway

Unfortunately, “Melrose” also showcased a slew of ugly-ducklings. Sometimes it seemed like there were more notties, than hotties. What was up with that? Who’s your bewitch for the fugliest men on “Melrose? ”

These are mine:

Henry-Kimberly’s Demon (Zito Kazen)

Tony Marlin (James Darren)

Chas Russell (Jeff Kaake)

Dr. Lewis Visconti (Heed L. Taylor)

Arthur Field

Dr. Calvin Hobbs (Francis X. McCarthy)

Hayley Armstrong (Perry King)

Dr. Dominick O’Malley (Brad Johnson)

Vince Parezi (David Groh)

Palmer Woodward (Wayne Tippit)

Bruce Teller (Stanley Kamel)

Ryan McBride (John Newton)

Keith Gray (William R. Moses)

Eric Baines (Jeffrey Nordling)

Dr. Stanley Levin (Carmen Argenziano)

Jess Hanson (Dan Cortese)

Alex Bastian (Steve Wilder)

Steve McMillan (Parker Stevenson)

These are the Season 5 eps:

Living With Grief (Sept. 9, 1996)

Richard starts playing with Jane’s mind. Amanda travels out of town to salvage information on her unique husband, who’s unruffled in the slammer. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman in Boston (Taylor) reads of Peter’s incarceration in the society papers and takes the red-eye to LA!

Over Dlck’s Lifeless Body (Sept. 16, 1996)

Fist of all, don’t you treasure the title of this ep? So “Melrose Plot!!” Jane and Syd are tranquil being tormented by Richard (YAWN!) Meanwhile, Taylor sets up shop at The Building and even rents Jo’s frail apartment.

Moving Violations (Sept. 23, 1996)

Syd and Jane collect away from Richard’s hairball method to entrap them. Jane’s dumbbell roommate, Samantha comes to select them up. Taylor brings Kyle by to sight their modern apartment. By the map, did you inspect how incredibly corrupt and sarcastic Amanda was to her? I mean, she was even mean-spirited by her occupy standards. Amanda’s claws really came out when Taylor sashayed by. What was up with that?

Hunka Hunka Burnin’ Esteem (Sept. 30, 1996)

Peter fires Sydney for selling his house while he was in jail and she threatens him with a s-e-xual harassment suit. I appreciate what Peter says to her: Lady, I was in jail for kill, a sex-charge would be a prance in the park! Speaking of fires, Jane accidently ignites a fire at Allison’s unusual pad, unprejudiced as sexy Jake is removing his shirt!

Un-Janed Melody (Oct. 28, 1996)

Pretty-boi Billy thinks he’s too splendid for Jane when she tires to jump his bones, in an apparent plan to accumulate Jake help and get Allison envious. …Taylor overhears Kimberly (who, after being investigated by the Medial Review Board gives up her medial license, is now Peter & Michael’s receptionist) region that Peter is out of town on his honeymoon and objective so happens to note up with Kyle! Amanda is less than thrilled to explore them, especially Taylor. Field shows up at D&D and makes some waves with his eager-to-please son. And, in her “Melrose” debut, we meet everyone’s popular glad hooker. BTW, did you derive a load of Megan as she was doing her dinky jogging routine on the beach? Things were titillating in all different directions, like a bowl of jiggley jello; it reminded me of Tanya Harding in a spandex.

Jane’s Addiction (Nov. 4, 1996)

Jane’s composed up to her (getting feeble) tricks as far as Allison and Jake are concerned. The malice (or should I say dementia) continues when she slashes Jake’s tires. Meanwhile, Dan helps Matt with his dependency issues.

Young Doctors in Heat (Nov. 11, 1996)

Amanda is especially significant with Peter and they both fight like cats and dogs. (BTW, have you ever noticed that Amanda enjoys the accelerate even more than actually being caught? It’s like once she’s caught and has her man she’s no longer contented and tries to demolish it.) Later in the ep, a very inebriated Peter “sleeps it off” on Kyle & Taylor’s sofa while Taylor licks her lips as she stares him up and down. Michael is seeing a mystery woman who he’s trying to learn about. Megan theatrically opens up her robe (to speak her undressed body) and says to Michael: everything you need to know about me is honest here. Also in this ep, Allison confronts Jane, regarding her loony antics.

Mission: Interpersonal (Nov. 11, 1996)

Note: both this ep & the one prior aired on the same date, however this is not a 2-hour explain, it’s 2 different eps. Taylor tells Peter who she really is and tries to ingratiate herself in his life. After an over-the-top breakdown Jane finally realizes that she was misdirecting her rage towards kind-hearted Jake (it was really Richard who she wanted to distress.)

Farewell Mike’s Concubine (Nov. 18, 1996)

Michael gets more serious about Megan, however Kimberly wants the relationship to raze. And as we’ve learned in the past, what Kimberly wants Kimberly usually gets! Samantha (the small ice-princess) is do off when Craig tries to hop in the sack with her (what was she waiting for an engraved announcement on Wedgeford Crystal? )

Nice Work if You Can Bag It (Nov. 25, 1996)

Craig pulls off a hostage take-over of D&D. Field makes allies with Amanda saying: recent times call for current bedfellows. Meanwhile, Kyle beds Syd. And this is why I really didn’t like Kyle. OK, yes wife his was sizable hore, but he was really no better! And besides, what’s beneficial for the goose is gracious for the gander! Later, Jane goes home to visit her parents, because as she build it: I objective don’t know who I am anymore. I always liked Jane & Syd’s mom, Katherine Andrews (Gail Strickland.) (Wasn’t she somewhat of a drama-queen? ) Anywho, Jane finds out that she was actually adopted and runs serve to LA in search of her biological parent. Also on this ep Dan has a minute scuffle with Jake who wants to know why Matt discontinue without giving him glimpse. (Matt was too insecure to negate to Jake so he told Allison.) When Jake finally confronts Matt at Shooters, Dan says, “he doesn’t have to give you sight.” Jake replies, “what are you his lawyer.” Dan, “No, I’m his lover.”

Sole Sister (Dec. 2, 1996)

Kyle pushes Sydney away (you should know by now Syd’s never been shocked of a wedding ring.) Craig is tranquil hot for Samantha and even rents her a working studio. Dan is confronted by a musty lover who makes a scene while Matt looks on in shock.

Quest for Mother (Dec. 9, 1996)

Kimberly no longer wants anything to do with Michael after finding out that her condition is terminal (she has a brain tumor!) Peter and Taylor light a candle in Beth’s remembrance. And, Amanda is getting more and more peeved by Big-Peter’s behavior. (I bet Taylor wouldn’t mind getting her hands on Big-Peter!) Meanwhile, Jane finally meets Sherry (Donna Mills) her long-lost birth parent.

Crazy Esteem (Dec. 16, 1996)

Jane gets closer to Sherry, however the relationship is strained. Samantha acts like a grand baby over her slow paintings and even gets Billy fervent. Billy gets the “board” at D&D to bag Craig to catch down her paining. OK, this is another hairball subplot. Hello, did the writers forget that Craig was the owner of the company? Billy said something like: Oh, I unbiased sent an email to the “art review committee” telling them that it did not meet standards. Gimme a shatter, guy! You’re so pudgy of yourself!

The Accidental Doctor (Jan. 6, 1997)

Both Kyle and Michael play matchmaker as far as Amanda and Peter are concerned. Dan becomes physically abusive with Matt. I dunno about you, but I consider it’s shapely hot watching 2 g-a-y men fight. They should do a sport of it. G-a-y boxing?

Escape From L.A. (Jan. 13, 1997)

In another dramatic ep, Jane leaves LA for the safety of her parents’ home, encourage in Chicago. (This will be Josie’s last ep for more than a year!) I admire how Katherine goes running after Sherry to “thank her.” Meanwhile, Dan’s able to convince his small leap-frog partner, Matt, to be his recent permanent bunk-mate. However, after the depart is nearly completed Dan attacks him. This time the usually docile Matt grows a backbone and fights support, giving Dan a much-deserved clock in the face!

Eyes of the Storm (Jan. 20, 1997)

Michael feels beholden to Kimberly (God knows why? ) Amanda blackmails loose-lips Craig with the info that he spilled about his father. Dan and Matt exchange words in the courtyard, but being the perpetual good-guy that he always is, Matt refuses to allow Dan to “leave in that condition.” Dan spends the night at Matt’s (but not in the same bed.)

Better Homes and Condos (Jan. 27, 1997)

Kimberly is able to set aside Michael (after he and Megan went chasing after her in another one of her attention-seeking tricks) in enough time. Syd takes Jane’s worn apartment and Samantha (who isn’t even paying rent!) puts up a foolish fight. (Did I converse you I can’t stand this girl? ) Sydney also gets more serious with Carter (Chad Lowe) in San Francisco. Also during this ep, Kyle’s worn bosom-buddy Sever comes for an extended-visit! Everyone seems to relish the presence of Carve. Everyone except for Taylor McBride! BTW, I savor it when Sever says to Tayler (in a couple of eps later:) peep, you microscopic hore, I want you to be a wife to Kyle.

Great S-e-x-pectations (Feb. 3, 1997)

Note: this is a 2-part ep. Megan starts getting jealous of all the time that Michael is spending with Kimberly. (I boom breaking up their marriage wasn’t enough for her? ) Taylor finds out that the unusual hospital chief-of-staff got the site because he was getting into his acquire irregular positions with Dr. Shulman. (Talk about working hard for your money! My goodness, I bet even Shulman’s snatch has teeth!) And, Taylor gladly relays the info to Peter who uses the gossip to his advantage. Never one to pass up an opportunity, Peter walks into the lady’s lockeroom (@ Wilshire Memorial) while Shulman is changing and says to her: I know he’s a married man and you’re having s-e-x with him. And surprise, surprise! Peter soon becomes the current tall chief at the hospital! In the second allotment of the ep, Kimberly begs Michael to sleep next to her for “primitive times sake.” Craig is thinking with his other head when Amanda manages to rep him to tag over half his fragment of D&D to her! Speaking of Amanda, she dramatically chases after Allison when she decides to go and visit Meredith (after a fight with Jake and realizing that she was pregnant.) And upon her return, Allison stays with Amanda instead of going befriend to Jake’s. Did I miss something? Doesn’t these 2 dislike each other?

Catch Her in the Lie (Feb. 10, 1997)

Michael sleeps with Kimberly and Megan is very upset. (It wasn’t fully established, but this is a rare ep when I gain “sleep” unprejudiced means sleep, not s-e-x.) Also, Kyle gives Carter a job. After bungling a bunch of tasks, Taylor sarcastically tells him that she’s gonna have him wash dishes. And Carter says (and honestly means it, this isn’t said sarcastically,:) Oh wow, I am so lucky. Taylor then turns to Syd and says: Oh you got a precise winner there. LOL!! So silly!! Meanwhile, Craig pays Gash to dig up proof that these 2 animals (Peter & Taylor, who else? ) are enjoying their bear s-e-x sessions!

Men Are From Melrose (Feb. 17, 1997)

This is one of my approved eps, because it’s all about the lewd behavior of Peter and Taylor! Gash is following them and witnesses everything! He even catches them on a golf course; talk about a hole in one! Carter and Syd breakup because he overhears her talking about him.

Frames ‘R’ Us (Feb. 24, 1997)

Nick is dropping hints to Taylor that he has proof. Later in the ep, Peter and Taylor pull off an explain s-c-a-m to s-t-e-a-l the pictures help! It was so comic when Taylor actually ripped her halter-top to manufacture it explore like Slice attacked her! After Kyle throws him out (BTW, how exactly is that possible since it isn’t his building? ) Prick records a secret conversation between Peter and Taylor. It was so dramatic when he called Craig and played the tape for him saying “listen to the coming attractions.” The following morning, Craig and Amanda point to up at Peter’s condo because as Craig said to Amanda, “I have to explain you something.” And they seek Peter and Taylor going at it like rabbits in heat! It was almost d-e-v-i-o-u-s watching Peter, because he looked up, made peruse contact with Amanda, and then went abet to his business without even flinching! OMG, so Melrose! I fancy it, I admire it, I like it!!! You contemplate that’s marvelous? Later on, Amanda shows up at “Kyle’s Restaurant” unannounced and Taylor sarcastically says to her: Amanda, what can I do for you? Amanda then s-u-c-k-e-r-punches her in the face, with a vast, closed, fist!!!! It cannot regain better than this!! This is impartial as respectable as Crystal Carrington and Alexis Colby!!!!!!!!! Oh before I forget, as the ep ends, Amanda, in a drunken stupor, decides to have s-ex- with Craig. Dare I say, the girl could do mighty worse? Roll on big-mama!

Screams From a Marriage (March 3, 1997)

This’ another accepted of mine!! Amanda wants nothing further to do with Peter (or Craig, for that matter.) Meanwhile, things are fair as salacious for the McBride’s when jar-head Kyle starts putting 2 & 2 together. He goes to visit Crop who reluctantly plays the tape of Taylor & Peter’s petite chit-chat session. Kyle then goes berserk, smashes the tape player, and punches Slice in the face. (Hold in mind, during Season 7 Kyle goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off the deep kill (not unlike Kimberly) so this may objective be a prelude of what’s in store, 2 years later!) … Anyway, later on in the ep, Kyle packs up Taylor’s things and throws her out. OK, this is my current scene in the Entire History of “Melrose” ~ After being thrown out, Taylor takes her cute small designer suitcase and starts walking through the courtyard to leave. En route to the building exit (you know fair where the mailboxes are, through the archway, but before those 2 double-doors,) who should note up, but Amanda! YES, YES, YES!!!! Amanda says to her: Taking a slouch, somewhere? So sorry to inspect you go. Taylor: Your husband’s condo, actually!! OK, this is even better than the punch in the face!!! I like it!!! Amanda retorts: Well righteous for you, all you had to do was smash up 2 marriages. But who’s counting. (BTW, Amanda’s “comeback” was nowhere advance as expedient as Taylor’s protest.)

101 Damnations (March 10, 1997)

After returning to the streets, Michael takes Megan succor. …Amanda and Kyle also learn of Peter & Taylor’s familial background. Kyle also confronts Taylor, grabbing her arm in a somewhat abusive device. Peter comes running out saying: win your hands off her. Kyle: I honest wanted to hear it straight from the horses, I mean hore’s mouth!! Later on, Matt has problems to deal with when his troublesome niece, Chelsea, is left in his care. Stupid! (Why couldn’t they have kept with the Dan storyline for Matt? Oh wait, I know why, the honchos at Fox were scheme too h-o-m-o-phobic for any really great stories for Matt.)

From Here to Maternity (March 17, 1997)

Syd tries to negotiate with Hilda’s lawyer who only has dollar signs in his eyes. In perhaps her only smart-remark ever, Samantha says to Sydney: impartial for the describe, I hope Hilda cleans your clock. Who’s Hilda? She’s this cute redhead who comes to Syd’s boutique. I fancy how Sydney says to her, “impartial so you know we don’t have a very substantial selection of sizes” (emphasis on the word “gargantuan.”) And Hilda then takes a tainted spill. Dreadful Hildegard!

Last Exit to Ohio (March 31, 1997)

Everyone’s well-liked mother-in-law, Marion Shaw (Janet Carroll) resurfaces to engage Kimberly home. Salvage a load of the dinner between Kimberly, Marion, Michael and Megan. Does anyone else regain that incredibly rank? Anyway, this is a very sunless ep, Kimberly is gone. Kimberly is no more. In honor of Kimberly’s death I have a puny song: Dong! The Witch is listless. Which conventional Witch? The Inferior Witch! Ding Dong! The Snide Witch is dumb. Wake up – sleepy head, rub your eyes, glean out of bed. Wake up, the Disagreeable Witch is tiresome. She’s gone where the goblins go, below – Below – below. Yo-ho, let’s launch up and express and ring the bells out. Ding Dong’ the merry-oh, whisper it high, say it extreme. Let them know The Sinister Witch is wearisome! (P.S. feel free replace the word “witch” with that word that starts with a capital “B” I’m obvious you know which one!)

The Stupid Wives Club (April 7, 1997)

Oh, before I forget, lemme swear you that Syd looses all of her assets to Hilda (this actually happened in the prior ep, but I was so enamored with Kimberly’s dwelling that I plumb forgot about it.) I loved how Hilda was dramatically dressed in that ludicrous-looking neck-brace. The poor-thing was even in a wheel chair, too. Hilda makes herself tumble down a flight of concrete stairs (making it peer like Syd pushed her, remember Hilda was an old-fashioned stunt girl.) Their presiding mediate (where’d he approach from, remember, this shrimp stunt took area outside? ) objective so happens to gaze this & everyone’s holed assist into court. (I clear bet if Syd status up a private liaison with perhaps Billy or Jake or even terrified Matt, Hildegard would have dropped her bogus suit!) OK, on this ep, Syd finally decides to go to “work for Harry” (Markus Flanagan,) Hilda’s unscrupulous lawyer; and she throws herself down Amanda’s steps at a cocktail party she was hosting in honor of Kyle.

Deja Vu All Over Again (April 14, 1997)

Sydney is afflict worse than she view she’d be. Harry advises her to retain her distance from Amanda and Craig, who tells Amanda that he will try to seduce Syd into dropping the suit. Later on, Kyle and Amanda discuss opening up a jazz club. Meanwhile, Michael’s limited sis Jennifer shows up unannounced. Michael gets her an interview at D&D because as he puts it “Amanda owes me one” (what exactly could Amanda “owe” Michael for?? ) Anyway, during the interview, Jennifer’s behavior was beyond outrageous. Truth be told, I have never witnessed such a indecent expose of awful manners in my entire life. However, as the Season progresses, we all behold the actual Jennifer; she’s a very sweet girl, that’s a shrimp rough around the edges; but very likable.

All Beths Are Off (April 14, 1997)

Jennifer bumps into Kyle at his restaurant and gives him a slap then runs off. It’s later revealed that she was the girl who he had the affair with aid in Boston! Michael-the-jack!ss throws his sister out, after that incident. Meanwhile, Allison (the other jack!ss) is hitting the bottle again. Her drinking gets so out-of-control that Amanda fires her (what is this like the 10th time she’s been fired? ) Also, Craig and Sydney accumulate closer and this long-time viewer is ecstatic to gaze that Syd is finally (getting) happy!

Ultimatums and the Single Guy (April 28, 1997)

The McBride’s & Burns’ discuss divorce at the restaurant. Taylor’s taking to wearing some novel ultra-conservative attire to peak her current live-in-lover’s interest. I like when Amanda says to Taylor that her clothes are “horrible.” It reminds me of the Season 6 ep, when on her wedding day (actually wedding evening) Taylor shows up unannounced and says to Amanda: Oh, by the method, your dress is monstrous! Also in this ep, Syd starts working as a “consultant” at D&D. I worship how Craig fights for his lady’s honor and gets Harry to bug off!

Going Places (May 5, 1997)

With Michael’s serve, Taylor schemes to drug Peter and convince him that he has “rage epilepsy.” It was so sick when Taylor egged Michael on to punch her so Peter would mediate she was really injure! And then after she hits herself, did you recognize how she crawled up to Peter and starts kissing him. What a total deranged kook!

Secrets and Lies and More Lies (May 12, 1997)

Sydney undermines Amanda every chance she gets at D&D. Meanwhile, the Jazz club opens. And after seeing that Jennifer’s working for Kyle, Amanda pushes him away. At the substantial opening, Amanda throws herself onto Craig to execute Syd jealous. This was done after Syd sarcastically said to Amanda: it’s so shadowy watching the mature lioness loose her teeth. (Another colossal line!)

Who’s Timorous of Amanda Woodward? (May 12, 1997)

Note: this is a 2-part ep. In the first portion, Syd and Craig settle to leave D&D and rob all of Amanda’s clients and employees with them! (I savor Sydney but what makes her reflect that she’s any match for Amanda in the business dept.? ) When her assets are undermined, Amanda tries to encourage out of the jazz club deal. Meanwhile, Michael gets Taylor to develop a spectacle out of herself so that Peter will cause a scene and Megan will represent the “abuse” to Shulman. Later on, never-happy Allison stages a limited indicate for Jake; she gets drunk with a friend so she can plug Jake away because the woman is never ecstatic because she doesn’t want to be overjoyed! Beneficial Riddance, Allison! You will not be missed! …In the second fraction of the ep, Amanda suffers a breakdown over her agency. Jake gets his son and Colleen to fade with him to Ojai. (It’s shaded that he’s gone, but I am gay that at least Jake finally found happiness and was finally reunited with his son after all those years.) Peter realizes that Michael was tedious his plunge and attacks him at the office. Sydney finally finds fancy. She finally finds a man who will obtain her for who she is. This is one of my current times for her, because in the 5 years that she was on the point to she never really found unconditional care for until she met Craig. It was very bittersweet when she was plowed down in her wedding dress, good after getting married!

That’s so Melrose…!

The Season 5 Situation is scheduled to be released on 7-27-08 to coincide with the Season 5 location of 90210 . So label your calendars!

You know, even though Michael was always such a dirty slimeball, there quiet was something very serene about him. I can’t exactly attach my finger on it, heaven knows it wasn’t the draw he looked. Maybe it was the fact that the girls literally threw themselves on him like he was a huge rock star? Michael had groupies!! These are some of Michael’s most deranged and demented sexual proclivities:

** Michael’s 2 ex-wives were both ex-hookers. Granted, Megan cleaned up her act, but composed. And Syd only got trampier once she gave up the hooking/pandering business!

** In Season 4, while staying with Michael and Sydney, Jane (who was in a wheelchair) was almost the victim of rape, by Michael! Michael literally crawled into her sofabed, in the middle of the night and whispers to her: even if you can’t feel it, sometimes it’s better to give pleasure than receive and I’ve known patients who have experienced heightened senses of feeling during sex. YUCK!! Jane then picks up a vase and cracks it on this pig’s head. Sydney then comes running out (in a horrid-looking pink nightie) and says to Michael hatefully: you’re trying to have sex with a alarmed person?

** Michael was always known for getting sloppy seconds. He got Amanda (after Peter,) he got Taylor (after Peter) and he got that redheaded vixen Lexi (after Peter.) BTW, Amanda was like half-head and this dog tranquil didn’t care!

** Michael allowed that dinky teenage hore on the beach to seduce him in a Season 4 ep. S luttty Denise Richards played super-s uttty Brandi Carlson, an fervent microscopic b eaver whose legs were as loose as her lips!

** In Season 6, Michael falls for another ho-ho-ho, stripper, Amber (Dawn Radenbaugh.) Although, Michael finally gets his comeupance when Amber robs him blind!

** None of this compares to Michael’s most bizarre-o bedfellow: Kimberly zipper-head Shaw!! How bizarre!

…More than ever, Season 5 is the defining season of the trashiest, sleaziest, sexiest series that popularized (and polarized) casual affairs with multiple sex-partners! “Melrose” totally reminds me of Ms. Charly McClain’s signature song: Who’s cheatin’ who an’ who’s bein’ correct? Who don’t even care anymore…!

…Sex In The City…

…Yeah, if “The City” is West Hollywood.

“Melrose” is The Unique Sex In The City!

Ok so even though it can’t top seasons two, three, and four, season five is definitely a enormous season. It could almost be intertwined with season four as far as the overall glossiness of it. Things really changed in this season. Daphne Zuniga was out (Jo left at in the season four finale and is mentioned once in the season five premiere) and she would not be the only one to go. By the destroy of season five, Courtney Thorne-Smith (Alison), Grant Exhibit (Jake), Josie Bissett (Jane), Laura Leighton (Sydney), and Marcia Snide (Kimberly) were all gone. There were some mountainous additions – Grasp Estes and Lisa Rinna (Kyle and Taylor), Kelly Rutherford (Megan), Alyssa Milano (Jennifer), Brooke Langton (Samantha), and David Charvet (Craig) – but the lack of beloved characters is, in my notion, what led to lackluster seasons six and seven.

I do like the method some of the departing characters are written out. Kimberly, finally overcoming all of her mental problems, struggles with getting her life abet to normal but succumbs to cancer and dies of a brain tumor (she really is wearisome this time) . Abominable luck befalls Sydney on her wedding day, who is tragically killed after finally finding a man who will esteem her for who she really is. Jake runs off to be with his son and his ex. Alison leaves for Atlanta to launch original, and Jane also decides it’s time to say bon voyage (which is honorable because I deem the insanity Kimberly finally got rid of leaked over into Jane’s storyline) .

Season Five is the last really sizable season. I enjoyed Season Six and some parts of Season Seven, but not very distinguished.

SEX, SEX SEX!!! That’s all this present is about. Watching Season 5 is like watching p-o-r-n-o, minus the really unpleasant acting (well, mostly) and incredibly fugly chicks! It’s cheap and shameful and coarse and I appreciate it!!!

** Josie Bissett / Jane Mancini (on up until the middle of Season 5 when she left the Series; she came attend impartial over a year latter in Season 6)

** Courtney Thorne-Smith / Allison Parker (Allison’s name has been spelled with both 1 “L” and 2, for this review, I’m spelling it with 2.) (on the entire Season too, thankfully it was her last)

** Grant Prove / Jake the-sexiest-man-in-the-world Hanson (Jake was my kind of man, young and dreary and interested to please; on the entire Season; but this would be his last, sadly!)

** Doug Savant / Matt the-token-g-a-y Fielding (almost as listless as Billy, on the entire Season)

** Jack Wagner / Dr. Peter Burns (aka Dr. Feelgood or Dr. Jungle-Fever) (entire Season)

** Laura Leighton / Sydney Andrews (entire Season, this would also be Syd’s last!)

** Marcia Imperfect / Dr. Kimberly (the most desperate housewife there is!) Shaw (left during the middle of Season 5, sadly because she was my popular kook!)

** Engage Estes / Kyle (the Jake-wannabe) McBride (entire Season)

** Kelly Rutherford / Megan the-happy-hooker Mancini (originally Lewis) (started after the Season began in a petite fragment that flourished into recurring state, similar to what happened to Lexi (aka “Mood Hair”) in Season 6)

** Brooke Langton / Samantha Reilly (I hated this one more than even Allison, on entire Season, unfortunately)

** Lisa Rinna / Victoria “Vicki” Taylor McBride (I like Taylor & her titanic lips, on entire Season)

** David Charvet / Craig Field (after Jake, Craig was the hottest man in the building, started after the Season began, but was on the rest of the Season)

** Alyssa Milano / Jennifer Mancini (only had a dinky recurring role, towards the kill of the Season, although she’d be help in Season 6)

** Patrick Muldoon / Richard Hart (left towards the beginning of the Season after like the 2nd ep, BTW, did bag you a load of Richard’s hirsute? Very sexy!)

** Dey Young / Dr. Irene Shulman otherwise known as “that Shulman Creature” by Taylor (only had a dinky recurring role, but she always managed to beget a colossal splash (pardon the pun) when she was on)

** Katie Wright / Chelsea Fielding (only had a runt & dumb recurring role)

** Greg Evigan / Dr. Dan Hathaway (in the only, and I mean Only time in the entire history of “Melrose,” Matt was keen in an bewitching storyline, thanks to Dan, only on fragment of the Season in a recurring role)

** The gradual Scott Plank (like “Roseanne” star, Glenne Quinn, he passed away in 2002) / Carve Re@rdon (not on entire Season, impartial had a recurring role)

** Edie McClurg / Hilda Morris (only on 3 eps, but this big-mama always managed to snatch the spotlight from Syd)

On one ep Amanda could be having a drunken roll in the sack with Craig on another she could be running into Kyle’s cockpit! And, when sex-crazy Michael wasn’t getting it at home (everyone’s current kook Kimberly was suffering from a severe case of frigidity) he simply found a hooker (courtesy of his wife!) who joyful all of his needs. Wasn’t it so comic when Amanda made that pathetic celibacy boom? It only lasted about as long as it took her to whisk out of her micro-mini! Honest about everyone is getting their mojo strung. Except, of course for terrible weak Hilda Morris! Although, I seriously contemplate that if Syd had fixed Hilda up with one of the resident-hotties (Jake, Billy or Matt, although he doesn’t swing that procedure) Hilda would have dropped her ludicrous lawsuit quicker than you can say “G-Spot.” Speaking of g-spots, didn’t Taylor eye like she was always getting it on with herself. It looked like she was always in this crude heat of passion, like she was having an intense o-r-g@-s-m all the time! And when Peter came buzzing around her Taylor simply couldn’t wait to jump his bones! Surprisingly, always-hungry-for-sloppy-seconds, Alison, only plays leap-frog with Jake during this Season! Although, Jake is enough man to satisify any woman! He’s like a colossal, juicy, meaty, steak; you unprejudiced can’t wait to wrap your lips around it…! …Like a Virgina Slim, it always fills your mouth with flavor! …I tend to assume that Samantha Riley primitive her sex as a weapon to control Billy. She was more shameless than Taylor and Megan. How else can all of those idiotic things that Billy did for her (he took her in after only luminous her for like what a month? took in her jail-bird daddy and supported them both!) be explained, otherwise? …Even Arthur Field got into the act. Although Amanda made another one of her asinine threats to him, “I’ll sue your pants off you.” Field hastily replied, “you don’t have to sue me to gain my pants off.” Yuuuuck!! That gruesome, used thing looks like Mr. Burns! But I’m definite Amanda would have jumped on his soul-train if she needed aid advancing at D&D!

These are the Season 5 eps:

Living With Misfortune (Sept. 9, 1996)

Richard starts playing with Jane’s mind. Amanda travels out of town to find information on her modern husband, who’s unexcited in the slammer. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman in Boston (Taylor) reads of Peter’s incarceration in the society papers and takes the red-eye to LA!

Over Dlck’s Wearisome Body (Sept. 16, 1996)

Fist of all, don’t you worship the title of this ep? So “Melrose Position!!” Jane and Syd are detached being tormented by Richard (YAWN!) Meanwhile, Taylor sets up shop at The Building and even rents Jo’s mature apartment.

Moving Violations (Sept. 23, 1996)

Syd and Jane procure away from Richard’s hairball way to entrap them. Jane’s dumbbell roommate, Samantha comes to win them up. Taylor brings Kyle by to inspect their current apartment. By the diagram, did you spy how incredibly unfriendly and sarcastic Amanda was to her? I mean, she was even mean-spirited by her absorb standards. Amanda’s claws really came out when Taylor sashayed by. What was up with that?

Hunka Hunka Burnin’ Savor (Sept. 30, 1996)

Peter fires Sydney for selling his house while he was in jail and she threatens him with a s-e-xual harassment suit. I fancy what Peter says to her: Lady, I was in jail for cancel, a sex-charge would be a inch in the park! Speaking of fires, Jane accidently ignites a fire at Allison’s fresh pad, unprejudiced as sexy Jake is removing his shirt!

Un-Janed Melody (Oct. 28, 1996)

Pretty-boi Billy thinks he’s too worthy for Jane when she tires to jump his bones, in an apparent draw to secure Jake assist and effect Allison envious. …Taylor overhears Kimberly (who, after being investigated by the Medial Review Board gives up her medial license, is now Peter & Michael’s receptionist) site that Peter is out of town on his honeymoon and unprejudiced so happens to display up with Kyle! Amanda is less than thrilled to peep them, especially Taylor. Field shows up at D&D and makes some waves with his eager-to-please son. And, in her “Melrose” debut, we meet everyone’s popular glad hooker. BTW, did you net a load of Megan as she was doing her limited jogging routine on the beach? Things were bewitching in all different directions, like a bowl of jiggley jello; it reminded me of Tanya Harding in a spandex.

Jane’s Addiction (Nov. 4, 1996)

Jane’s detached up to her (getting veteran) tricks as far as Allison and Jake are concerned. The malice (or should I say dementia) continues when she slashes Jake’s tires. Meanwhile, Dan helps Matt with his dependency issues.

Young Doctors in Heat (Nov. 11, 1996)

Amanda is especially necessary with Peter and they both fight like cats and dogs. (BTW, have you ever noticed that Amanda enjoys the plod even more than actually being caught? It’s like once she’s caught and has her man she’s no longer gratified and tries to kill it.) Later in the ep, a very inebriated Peter “sleeps it off” on Kyle & Taylor’s sofa while Taylor licks her lips as she stares him up and down. Michael is seeing a mystery woman who he’s trying to learn about. Megan theatrically opens up her robe (to assert her undressed body) and says to Michael: everything you need to know about me is upright here. Also in this ep, Allison confronts Jane, regarding her loony antics.

Mission: Interpersonal (Nov. 11, 1996)

Note: both this ep & the one prior aired on the same date, however this is not a 2-hour display, it’s 2 different eps. Taylor tells Peter who she really is and tries to ingratiate herself in his life. After an over-the-top breakdown Jane finally realizes that she was misdirecting her rage towards kind-hearted Jake (it was really Richard who she wanted to wound.)

Farewell Mike’s Concubine (Nov. 18, 1996)

Michael gets more serious about Megan, however Kimberly wants the relationship to ruin. And as we’ve learned in the past, what Kimberly wants Kimberly usually gets! Samantha (the runt ice-princess) is assign off when Craig tries to hop in the sack with her (what was she waiting for an engraved announcement on Wedgeford Crystal? )

Nice Work if You Can Salvage It (Nov. 25, 1996)

Craig pulls off a hostage take-over of D&D. Field makes allies with Amanda saying: fresh times call for recent bedfellows. Meanwhile, Kyle beds Syd. And this is why I really didn’t like Kyle. OK, yes wife his was ample hore, but he was really no better! And besides, what’s ample for the goose is proper for the gander! Later, Jane goes home to visit her parents, because as she set aside it: I fair don’t know who I am anymore. I always liked Jane & Syd’s mom, Katherine Andrews (Gail Strickland.) (Wasn’t she somewhat of a drama-queen? ) Anywho, Jane finds out that she was actually adopted and runs assist to LA in search of her biological parent. Also on this ep Dan has a limited scuffle with Jake who wants to know why Matt finish without giving him glimpse. (Matt was too shy to allege to Jake so he told Allison.) When Jake finally confronts Matt at Shooters, Dan says, “he doesn’t have to give you see.” Jake replies, “what are you his lawyer.” Dan, “No, I’m his lover.”

Sole Sister (Dec. 2, 1996)

Kyle pushes Sydney away (you should know by now Syd’s never been stunned of a wedding ring.) Craig is smooth hot for Samantha and even rents her a working studio. Dan is confronted by a frail lover who makes a scene while Matt looks on in shock.

Crazy Care For (Dec. 16, 1996)

Jane gets closer to Sherry, however the relationship is strained. Samantha acts like a huge baby over her insensible paintings and even gets Billy fervent. Billy gets the “board” at D&D to earn Craig to hold down her paining. OK, this is another hairball subplot. Hello, did the writers forget that Craig was the owner of the company? Billy said something like: Oh, I impartial sent an email to the “art review committee” telling them that it did not meet standards. Gimme a smash, guy! You’re so plump of yourself!

The Accidental Doctor (Jan. 6, 1997)

Both Kyle and Michael play matchmaker as far as Amanda and Peter are concerned. Dan becomes physically abusive with Matt. I dunno about you, but I deem it’s fair hot watching 2 g-a-y men fight. They should compose a sport of it. G-a-y boxing?

Escape From L.A. (Jan. 13, 1997)

In another dramatic ep, Jane leaves LA for the safety of her parents’ home, assist in Chicago. (This will be Josie’s last ep for more than a year!) I esteem how Katherine goes running after Sherry to “thank her.” Meanwhile, Dan’s able to convince his diminutive leap-frog partner, Matt, to be his fresh permanent bunk-mate. However, after the recede is nearly completed Dan attacks him. This time the usually docile Matt grows a backbone and fights relieve, giving Dan a much-deserved clock in the face!

Kimberly is able to establish Michael (after he and Megan went chasing after her in another one of her attention-seeking tricks) in enough time. Syd takes Jane’s customary apartment and Samantha (who isn’t even paying rent!) puts up a foolish fight. (Did I mumble you I can’t stand this girl? ) Sydney also gets more serious with Carter (Chad Lowe) in San Francisco. Also during this ep, Kyle’s mature bosom-buddy Slice comes for an extended-visit! Everyone seems to indulge in the presence of Gash. Everyone except for Taylor McBride! BTW, I esteem it when Prick says to Tayler (in a couple of eps later:) behold, you cramped hore, I want you to be a wife to Kyle.

Great S-e-x-pectations (Feb. 3, 1997)

Note: this is a 2-part ep. Megan starts getting jealous of all the time that Michael is spending with Kimberly. (I impart breaking up their marriage wasn’t enough for her? ) Taylor finds out that the original hospital chief-of-staff got the state because he was getting into his maintain irregular positions with Dr. Peter soon becomes the novel great chief at the hospital! In the second section of the ep, Kimberly begs Michael to sleep next to her for “ancient times sake.” Craig is thinking with his other head when Amanda manages to regain him to heed over half his fragment of D&D to her! Speaking of Amanda, she dramatically chases after Allison when she decides to go and visit Meredith (after a fight with Jake and realizing that she was pregnant.) And upon her return, Allison stays with Amanda instead of going encourage to Jake’s. Did I miss something? Doesn’t these 2 abhor each other?

Catch Her in the Lie (Feb. 10, 1997)

Michael sleeps with Kimberly and Megan is very upset. (It wasn’t fully established, but this is a rare ep when I have “sleep” unbiased means sleep, not s-e-x.) Also, Kyle gives Carter a job. After bungling a bunch of tasks, Taylor sarcastically tells him that she’s gonna have him wash dishes. And Carter says (and honestly means it, this isn’t said sarcastically,:) Oh wow, I am so lucky. Taylor then turns to Syd and says: Oh you got a true winner there. LOL!! So droll!! Meanwhile, Craig pays Slash to dig up proof that these 2 animals (Peter & Taylor, who else? ) are enjoying their beget s-e-x sessions!

Men Are From Melrose (Feb. 17, 1997)

This is one of my well-liked eps, because it’s all about the lewd behavior of Peter and Taylor!

Later in the ep, Peter and Taylor pull off an account for s-c-a-m to s-t-e-a-l the pictures abet! It was so droll when Taylor actually ripped her halter-top to accomplish it gaze like Cut attacked her! After Kyle throws him out (BTW, how exactly is that possible since it isn’t his building? ) Chop records a secret conversation between Peter and Taylor. It was so dramatic when he called Craig and played the tape for him saying “listen to the coming attractions.” The following morning, Craig and Amanda demonstrate up at Peter’s condo because as Craig said to Amanda, “I have to explain you something.” And they view Peter and Taylor going at it like rabbits in heat! It was almost d-e-v-i-o-u-s watching Peter, because he looked up, made stare contact with Amanda, and then went aid to his business without even flinching! OMG, so Melrose! I like it, I fancy it, I cherish it!!! You consider that’s top-notch? Later on, Amanda shows up at “Kyle’s Restaurant” unannounced and Taylor sarcastically says to her: Amanda, what can I do for you? Amanda then s-u-c-k-e-r-punches her in the face, with a huge, closed, fist!!!! It cannot win better than this!! This is objective as edifying as Crystal Carrington and Alexis Colby!!!!!!!!! Oh before I forget, as the ep ends, Amanda, in a drunken stupor, decides to have s-ex- with Craig. Dare I say, the girl could do considerable worse? Roll on big-mama!

Screams From a Marriage (March 3, 1997)

This’ another current of mine!! Amanda wants nothing further to do with Peter (or Craig, for that matter.) Meanwhile, things are unbiased as salacious for the McBride’s when jar-head Kyle starts putting 2 & 2 together. He goes to visit Slice who reluctantly plays the tape of Taylor & Peter’s puny chit-chat session. Kyle then goes berserk, smashes the tape player, and punches Crop in the face. (Sustain in mind, during Season 7 Kyle goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off the deep destroy (not unlike Kimberly) so this may unprejudiced be a prelude of what’s in store, 2 years later!) … Anyway, later on in the ep, Kyle packs up Taylor’s things and throws her out. OK, this is my popular scene in the Entire History of “Melrose” ~ After being thrown out, Taylor takes her cute miniature designer suitcase and starts walking through the courtyard to leave. En route to the building exit (you know legal where the mailboxes are, through the archway, but before those 2 double-doors,) who should explain up, but Amanda! YES, YES, YES!!!! Amanda says to her: Taking a poke, somewhere? So sorry to study you go. Taylor: Your husband’s condo, actually!! OK, this is even better than the punch in the face!!! I care for it!!! Amanda retorts: Well obedient for you, all you had to do was atomize up 2 marriages. But who’s counting. (BTW, Amanda’s “comeback” was nowhere reach as agreeable as Taylor’s voice.)

101 Damnations (March 10, 1997)

After returning to the streets, Michael takes Megan attend. …Amanda and Kyle also learn of Peter & Taylor’s familial background. Kyle also confronts Taylor, grabbing her arm in a somewhat abusive design. Peter comes running out saying: recall your hands off her. Kyle: I honest wanted to hear it straight from the horses, I mean hore’s mouth!! Later on, Matt has problems to deal with when his troublesome niece, Chelsea, is left in his care. Slow! (Why couldn’t they have kept with the Dan storyline for Matt? Oh wait, I know why, the honchos at Fox were map too h-o-m-o-phobic for any really apt stories for Matt.)

From Here to Maternity (March 17, 1997)

Syd tries to negotiate with Hilda’s lawyer who only has dollar signs in his eyes. In perhaps her only smart-remark ever, Samantha says to Sydney: unbiased for the portray, I hope Hilda cleans your clock. Who’s Hilda? She’s this cute redhead who comes to Syd’s boutique. I fancy how Sydney says to her, “unbiased so you know we don’t have a very spacious selection of sizes” (emphasis on the word “ample.”) And Hilda then takes a unfriendly spill. Unpleasant Hildegard!

Last Exit to Ohio (March 31, 1997)

Everyone’s popular mother-in-law, Marion Shaw (Janet Carroll) resurfaces to acquire Kimberly home. Gain a load of the dinner between Kimberly, Marion, Michael and Megan. Does anyone else catch that incredibly rotten? Anyway, this is a very sunless ep, Kimberly is gone. Kimberly is no more. In honor of Kimberly’s death I have a petite song: Dong! The Witch is tedious. Which used Witch? The Sinister Witch! Ding Dong! The Detestable Witch is uninteresting. Wake up – sleepy head, rub your eyes, collect out of bed. Wake up, the Nefarious Witch is tiresome. She’s gone where the goblins go, below – Below – below. Yo-ho, let’s originate up and yelp and ring the bells out. Ding Dong’ the merry-oh, speak it high, squawk it obscene. Let them know The Base Witch is dreary! (P.S. feel free replace the word “witch” with that word that starts with a capital “B” I’m positive you know which one!)

The Dreary Wives Club (April 7, 1997)

Oh, before I forget, lemme inform you that Syd looses all of her assets to Hilda (this actually happened in the prior ep, but I was so enamored with Kimberly’s residence that I plumb forgot about it.) I loved how Hilda was dramatically dressed in that ludicrous-looking neck-brace. The poor-thing was even in a wheel chair, too. Hilda makes herself tumble down a flight of concrete stairs (making it discover like Syd pushed her, remember Hilda was an musty stunt girl.) Their presiding mediate (where’d he near from, remember, this runt stunt took site outside? ) fair so happens to explore this & everyone’s holed aid into court. (I distinct bet if Syd state up a private liaison with perhaps Billy or Jake or even vexed Matt, Hildegard would have dropped her bogus suit!) OK, on this ep, Syd finally decides to go to “work for Harry” (Markus Flanagan,) Hilda’s unscrupulous lawyer; and she throws herself down Amanda’s steps at a cocktail party she was hosting in honor of Kyle.

Deja Vu All Over Again (April 14, 1997)

Sydney is injure worse than she belief she’d be. Harry advises her to hold her distance from Amanda and Craig, who tells Amanda that he will try to seduce Syd into dropping the suit. Later on, Kyle and Amanda discuss opening up a jazz club. Meanwhile, Michael’s slight sis Jennifer shows up unannounced. Michael gets her an interview at D&D because as he puts it “Amanda owes me one” (what exactly could Amanda “owe” Michael for?? ) Anyway, during the interview, Jennifer’s behavior was beyond improper. Truth be told, I have never witnessed such a coarse show of unpleasant manners in my entire life. However, as the Season progresses, we all witness the precise Jennifer; she’s a very sweet girl, that’s a puny rough around the edges; but very likable.

All Beths Are Off (April 14, 1997)

Jennifer bumps into Kyle at his restaurant and gives him a slap then runs off. It’s later revealed that she was the girl who he had the affair with help in Boston! Michael-the-jack!ss throws his sister out, after that incident. Meanwhile, Allison (the other jack!ss) is hitting the bottle again. Her drinking gets so out-of-control that Amanda fires her (what is this like the 10th time she’s been fired? ) Also, Craig and Sydney find closer and this long-time viewer is jubilant to perceive that Syd is finally (getting) ecstatic!

Ultimatums and the Single Guy (April 28, 1997)

The McBride’s & Burns’ discuss divorce at the restaurant. Taylor’s taking to wearing some unique ultra-conservative attire to peak her unique live-in-lover’s interest. I cherish when Amanda says to Taylor that her clothes are “unpleasant.” It reminds me of the Season 6 ep, when on her wedding day (actually wedding evening) Taylor shows up unannounced and says to Amanda: Oh, by the intention, your dress is gruesome! Also in this ep, Syd starts working as a “consultant” at D&D. I like how Craig fights for his lady’s honor and gets Harry to bug off!

Going Places (May 5, 1997)

With Michael’s assist, Taylor schemes to drug Peter and convince him that he has “rage epilepsy.” It was so sick when Taylor egged Michael on to punch her so Peter would mediate she was really damage! And then after she hits herself, did you gape how she crawled up to Peter and starts kissing him.

At the astronomical opening, Amanda throws herself onto Craig to execute Syd jealous. This was done after Syd sarcastically said to Amanda: it’s so murky watching the musty lioness loose her teeth. (Another sizable line!)

Who’s Timorous of Amanda Woodward? (May 12, 1997)

Note: this is a 2-part ep. In the first portion, Syd and Craig settle to leave D&D and pick all of Amanda’s clients and employees with them! (I like Sydney but what makes her believe that she’s any match for Amanda in the business dept.? ) When her assets are undermined, Amanda tries to relieve out of the jazz club deal. Meanwhile, Michael gets Taylor to build a spectacle out of herself so that Peter will cause a scene and Megan will recount the “abuse” to Shulman. Later on, never-happy Allison stages a petite expose for Jake; she gets drunk with a friend so she can hump Jake away because the woman is never blissful because she doesn’t want to be glad! Excellent Riddance, Allison! You will not be missed! …In the second piece of the ep, Amanda suffers a breakdown over her agency. Jake gets his son and Colleen to depart with him to Ojai. (It’s dusky that he’s gone, but I am glad that at least Jake finally found happiness and was finally reunited with his son after all those years.) Peter realizes that Michael was late his drop and attacks him at the office. Sydney finally finds worship. She finally finds a man who will acquire her for who she is. This is one of my popular times for her, because in the 5 years that she was on the demonstrate she never really found unconditional cherish until she met Craig. It was very bittersweet when she was plowed down in her wedding dress, moral after getting married!

That’s so Melrose…!

The Season 5 Space is scheduled to be released on 7-27-08 to coincide with the Season 5 dwelling of 90210 . So sign your calendars!

You know, even though Michael was always such a dirty slimeball, there serene was something very still about him. I can’t exactly keep my finger on it, heaven knows it wasn’t the procedure he looked. Maybe it was the fact that the girls literally threw themselves on him like he was a gargantuan rock star? Michael had groupies!! These are some of Michael’s most deranged and demented sexual proclivities:

** Michael’s 2 ex-wives were both ex-hookers. Granted, Megan cleaned up her act, but level-headed.

Sydney then comes running out (in a horrid-looking pink nightie) and says to Michael hatefully: you’re trying to have sex with a stupefied person?

** Michael was always known for getting sloppy seconds. He got Amanda (after Peter,) he got Taylor (after Peter) and he got that redheaded vixen Lexi (after Peter.) BTW, Amanda was like half-head and this dog serene didn’t care!

** Michael allowed that cramped teenage hore on the beach to seduce him in a Season 4 ep. S luttty Denise Richards played super-s uttty Brandi Carlson, an keen runt b eaver whose legs were as loose as her lips!

Charly McClain’s signature song: Who’s cheatin’ who an’ who’s bein’ legal? Who don’t even care anymore…!

…Sex In The City…

…Yeah, if “The City” is West Hollywood.

“Melrose” is The Fresh Sex In The City!

Kenneth Infuriate, Volume Two gathers together Kenneth Anger’s work during his most influential period. “Scorpio Rising” is the standout, a homoerotic (intrepid by the standards of the day) semi-documentary (play the commentary) of pleased bikers in Coney Island which through employ of montage and then unusual pop songs, some sacreligious elements (a dated religious film is spliced in) and film footage of Hollywood movies (Marlon Brando in the “Wild One”, James Dean) creates an avant masterwork, underground before the genre became tiring,. Influential on John Waters Gus Van Sant but surprisingly an admitted influence on Martin Scorcese and many other mainstream film makers (the spend of the song “Blue Velvet” in an out of context fashion may have been lifted by a sure film maker) and the employ of pop songs in an ironic context was groundbreaking. The other films are less critical (“Kustom Kar Kommandos” is a film section never completed, “Invocation of My Demon Brother” is dated (Mick Jagger unsuccesfully trying out the Moog, soundtrack, the appearence of Anton Levay), “Rabbit’s Moon” is a shortened version of the far better version available on Volume I (which had a far more appropriate soundtrack) and “Lucifer Rising” has its moments and nice imagery but no more (the novel film on Aleister Crowley “The Man We Want to Hang” is an bright bonus but no surprise) . So for overall negate I’d give this 4 stars but “Scorpio Rising”, plus the remastering of the films and soundtracks and the commentary remove this up one fat star and obtain this a neccessary bewitch for all alive to in film history.

The Films of Kenneth Enrage – Vol. 2 is another lovingly prepared DVD esteem from San Francisco based Fantoma Films. Proper restoration from high definition masters on all 5 classic films, plus a bonus short. Commentaries by Kenneth Arouse himself are informative and boom us the slight secrets that we want to know. The 48 page illustrated booklet is another well conception out portion. Scorpio Rising, Kustom Kar Kommandos, Invocation Of My Demon Brother, Rabbit’s Moon and the long awaited Lucifer Rising have never looked or sounded so superior. Remove this one and fancy it.
